This routine was passed down by Yin Huang, "Short Leg Tiger", one of the heroes in The Water Margins, about 400 years ago. He observed the hunting skills of eagle & created this form when he practised wushu in a forest. Movements are powerful & agile,
This form imitated walking, running, hunting, & fighting movements of a tiger. Forms are fierce & powerful. Waist leads the movements. Major hand methods are grab, hug, & press. Major leg methods are kick, step, & hook. Major footwork is kneed step, arrow step, horse step, & independent step. It enhanced power & endurance of the player.

Drunken Fist was formed based on the offensive & defensive techniques of Wu Xong & Lu Zhi Sheng (heros in The Water Margins) when they were drunken fighting with Jiang Men Shen & San Men. Forms are "drunken" but not mind. An unpredictable, practical, & artistic routine.
