About the performer: Instructor Zhao Zhan Jun is the inheritor of Shaolin Si Men Sec., President of Jung Zhou City Wushu Association, & Head Coach of Hua Be Shaolin Wushu School.
About the form: Si Men routines are not traditional kungfus. However, it absorbed the essences of different traditional kungfu especially Shaolin kungfu. It has strong contemperory fighting concepts. It features simple, direct, natural, fast body movements, & fists fight all direction. Most chosen weapons are handy & easy to access to fit modern fighting concepts.

Si Men Fist. It is also called as Four Directions Fist. It is a secret Shaolin fist routine. It absorbed essences of different fighting techniques with clear attacking & defense concepts. Movements feature the ability to have one fight against severals. It has 6 major routines: Si Men Fist, Si Men Elbow, Si Men Linked Fist, Si Men Leaning Fist, Si Men Pi Zhi Hand, Si Men Lan Fist.

It has 10th routine rebounding leg & 12th routine rebounding leg. 10th rebounding leg focuses on lower body movements which is the basics for all beginners. 12th rebounding leg emphasises on practical usage & 10th rebounding leg emphasises solidifing lower body.

It is also called as Running hammer. It is a "soft" weapon that utilizes different joints to do winding & releasing movements to all directions. Balance of body & weapon, skillfully use its radius & direction to issue forces to the end of hammer are important. Its major movements are winding, throwing, hitting, & releasing. A "soft" weapon that most movements present in circles. It is well-known in its portable ability & practical usage among different weapons. Double spear sparring exercise is a fundamental spears sparring exercise, based on the fundamental movements of single person practice. It clearly present practical usage of double head spear. It trains player's reaction, sense of timing, sense of distance in both attack & defense.
